How to strand yourself in Pokemon Ruby,Saphire,and Emerald

  1. Get rid of (sell) all of your pokeballs.
  2. Catch a wild Silcoon or Cascoon. (Any pokemon that it or it's evolve forms cannot learn Surf or Fly will do.)
  3. Fly to Pacificlodge town and release or migrate all of your pokemon except the pokemon from step #2.
  4. To make it permanent, save.

*This will only work if you do not trade pokemon once you are stranded.

    Use the ship in Canalave city to go to Iron Island. Team up with Riley and after you beat the Galactic Grunts he will give you a Riolu egg. Have the Riolu at a high friendship level between 4:00am and 8:00pm.
